Who Wants My Cupcakes?

I cooked…and did a cupcake-baking photo shoot in the process! VIPs get a 25-image gallery!

This was a really fun shoot… both from a technical perspective, and, at the end of the shoot, there were a bunch of cupcakes!!! What could be better?

I even added an extra promo shot or two because of all of the good comments on Facebook! Thanks for taking a peek at my cupcakes!!!

VIPs, as I mentioned you get the entire gallery down below, but there is also a VIP exclusive behind the scenes video, where I talk about the camera settings and exactly how I positioned my lighting for this shoot. It was a lot of fun and I’m expecting to do one like this again in the very near future!

Yup, I have a kitchen + iPhone Tripod Mount

Over on my new channel, TheSnapChickVLOG, I posted a new video

In the video, briefly show my kitchen and… I show off this, which I just bought

SnapMount Tripod Mount for iPhone 4/4S

It’s a pretty cool accessory – this is just one of two components I need for a little project I’m working on. Still, this product is very cool in its own right. It’s nice to be able to have the phone stand up in different ways when doing videos, also, since so many accessories either have a tripod screw on board or can be fitted with one, this opens a world of possibilities, like putting the phone on a boom or in other precarious places!

SnapChick’s New Bedroom Part 2

Part 2! For the shoot, I used the Nikon V1 and FT1 adapter with the 17-55 f/2.8 lens. In post-processing, I used lots of different effects on these photos!

VIPs, make sure you log in to see the gallery of 30 photos and a video where I talk about the details of the shoot. πŸ™‚ If you aren’t a VIP, find out more here!

SnapChick’s New Bedroom / Nikon V1

I finally got my new bedroom together! I did a celebratory photo shoot using natural light and my Nikon V1 with the FT1 adapter and my 17-55 f/2.8 lens. I had to challenge myself to move my body and my camera around to best use the natural light.

In Part 1, VIPs get a sample gallery of photos. Part 2 will include bunches more photos and a VIP-exclusive video explaining the details of the shoot! πŸ™‚ Stay tuned, VIPs!!!

SnapChick in Chicago Part 2

Hey SnapChickens! This is Part 2 of my hotel photo shoot in Chicago. You can see Part 1 here. I was looking for a moodier look in most of these photos. In post processing, I used LOTS of different filters, sometimes even combining filters and manual adjustments. I was in the mood to mix it up! πŸ™‚

VIPs, log in for a gallery of 29 photos! The filters are in the file names. If you want more info on any of the shots, just email me… πŸ™‚
