I’m always experimenting with new techniques and new setups. I decided to share this one! It was inspired by the no-makeup photos I’ve seen of celebrities in magazines.

VIPs get a gallery of images and a video explaining the details of the shoot! Here’s a sample for everyone though…

As promised, here’s Part 2 of my experimental photo shoot! I edited all of the images in SnapSeed. I’m digging SnapSeed. The filters were especially good for this shoot… a little gritty, definitely edgy! πŸ™‚

And, in case you missed it, Part 1 is here!

In my research for the Nikon D3100 versus Canon T3i DEATHMATCH, I did a three-part photo shoot. The first part was me in the studio, the second part was me outside, and the third part was on a tripod, photographing Legos! πŸ™‚

The DEATHMATCH video isn’t ready for viewing yet, but I’ve compiled a few photos from the T3i as a preview. For the VIPs, I’ve included a gallery of 15 images! These images are unedited so be kind! πŸ˜‰ I’ll be posting a few of the full-sized versions when I post the DEATHMATCH for all you pixel-peepers out there…

I’m so excited to announce a SnapChick contest! The prize is a $100 Adorama gift card! You can check out the details in the video below but here’s the deal… Email me a question to secrets@snapchick.com. The subject line of the email should read, “SnapChick Gift Card Contest” and the body of the email should be your question. Make sure to get your question in by Sunday, March 4, 2012 at 11:59pm Eastern time. I’ll choose a question at random, make a video of my answer and announcing the winner, of course. Then, you’ll be contacted about receiving the gift card! I could think of a lot of ways to spend 100 smackaroos at Adorama! …a new memory card, a slingpack, maybe even a fancy new tripod

Oh, and did I mention that I have a new Canon T3i to play with? Check out the unboxing here…
