The latest in my videos on my studio lighting setups is continuous fluorescent lights. I’m still working on the photos and video but I have a sample for you, plus more for VIPs! For these photos, I had limited space (I was in my bathroom!), so my smaller set of continuous fluorescent lights worked perfectly. More photos and the videos will be up later this week so be on the lookout on my Facebook page or check back on my site!

I did a big Question-and-Answer session, where I talked about everything from backdrops to holiday traditions and my orange couch!
 
The SnapChick Friday Morning Rewind was from a shoot two years ago – on commercial photography. There were three posts associated with this shoot. You can jump through them with links in the each of the posts.
 
I started something new… Chick at Nite. I’ll be bringing back some of my older videos on popular or just fun topics!
 
I posted a couple VLOGs this week too – I talked about my experience with the Girl Scouts and getting my emissions tested… and retested!

First Sunday was last weekend. I took my trusty Nikon 1 V1 and the 10mm f/2.8 lens downtown to a half-marathon. I wasn’t running; I just wanted to hang out and watch and take pictures.

The new Nikon Df was announced this week. I posted a video where I talked about my first impressions. I’ll have more to say on it too. You can find out more or pre-order the camera here.
 
Mixed lighting is something that we, as photographers, all hate, right? Well, I posted Part 1 of a video on mixed lighting. In Part 1, I talk about some tips for setting your white balance to deal with it.
 
Last week, I showed you all SlickWraps. In the video, I reviewed the product and showed you a bit how I put it on my iPhone 5s. This week, I got my hands on an iPhone 5c and made a video where I put a SlickWraps phone wrap on it. You can also find out more here!
 
A few weeks ago, I posted a video on my studio lighting. It was an overview. This week, I posted a video specifically about Speedlights – what they’re good for, what they aren’t so good for… and I showed you example photos throughout the video. I used some photos from previous shoots but I also did a new shoot. So the post has a sample photo for everyone, plus a gallery for VIPs and a video for them as well, where I explain some details of the shoot. The SnapChick Friday Morning Rewind was from last year – a shoot where I posed with several cameras!

In this video, I showed you my studio lighting setups. Now, I’m making videos featuring each of the setups! For this video on Speedlights, I did a photo shoot in a small space to feature one of their benefits!

Nikon announced a new lens – a 58mm f/1.4G lens. I gave you my first impressions in this video. You can order the lens here.
