This week was a busy one…
 
SnapChick’s Facebook Photo Contest – Bring Your Worst came to a close last week. This week, winners were announced in a video!
 
I talked about lens quality and also vibration reduction/image stabilization in a Question of the Day video.
 
I went on a 2-day adventure around the Arizona/Utah border. I posted photos throughout the two days, mostly photos taken through my windshield, but then this week I posted a couple galleries of photos not taken through my car’s windshield – like this one.

Chick at Nite this week was a video where I showed you the lighting setup for my videos and the SnapChick Friday Morning Rewind was from my Valentine’s Day shoot from three years ago!

SnapChick’s Facebook Photo Contest – Bring Your Worst has ended! I haven’t announced the winners yet, but I did post a review of one of the prizes – a RAVPower Element Series Power Bank. You can hear more about my review of the contest entries in the video below.

VIPs got a preview of a project I’m working on but I’ll talk more about it with everyone soon!
 
Chick at Nite this week was all about taking photos with a point-and-shoot camera and the SnapChick Friday Morning Rewinds last week it was from a shoot called Snowy SnapChick from last year. Then, this week, the rewind was from a shoot I did in my bedroom using my guitar and my camera as props!
 
I posted a couple VLOGs too… one was during a day of adventuring and another was during an internet outage!

So here’s what I’ve been up to…
 

This year’s holiday-themed shoot was SnapChick and Her Christmas Tree! It was me and my tree in the studio!
 
I talked to VIPs about capturing great holiday memories, while still having a great time.
 
I shared with you my vision for 2014 in a video!
 
I received lots o questions for my first Q&A session of 2014. I answered them all!
 
My first-ever contest – Bring Your Worst – started. It’s shaping up to be a difficult decision!
 

Lots of new gear was announced at CES, including the Nikon D3300. I talked to you about my first impressions of it in a video. You can also find out more and pre-order the kit here!
 
I introduces you to Nikon’s online field of view simulator – which can be used by anyone, no matter your preferred camera brand!

I posted a sneak peek from my new photo shoot – all about getting an iconic look without a lot of fuss. I also posted a behind-the-scenes video for VIPs only!
 
Last week, the rewind was from a rock-and-roll shoot, and this week it was from a sunrise shoot from three years ago.
 
I posted a few VLOGs too… From my field trip to beautiful Walnut Canyon National Monument, Arizona. And during my cold New Year’s Eve run up a mountain. And one about my flat tire. I also posted a video on Facebook of me sledding!
 
I posted a whole slew of photos too, like photos from my sunrise on New Year’s Day at the Grand Canyon.

Sometimes it’s great to have an intricate studio setup or an exotic locale, but sometimes you can get an iconic look with a simple setup – in studio or outside. I’ll elaborate in a video soon, but here’s a preview from each portion of this shoot…
